Compactness Despite their compact size, Komatsu mini-excavators deliver optimal power and digging speed, even in confined spaces. Sturdy and very stable, they offer maximum safety and complete operator confidence.

Perfect control The Closed Load Sensing System (CLSS) hydraulic circuit, complemented by hydraulic servo-controls, gives power, speed and perfect control to all machine movements.

Safety For increased jobsite safety, the PC18MR-5 includes a dual lock lever neutral detection system for travel and work equipment levers, along with a seat belt caution indicator and a secondary engine shutdown switch.

Comfort Exceptionally quiet, and designed with great attention to detail, the operator’s environment offers outstanding comfort and visibility. The wide door and well placed handholds allow easy entry and exit.

Maintenance The wide opening engine bonnets provide a quick access to daily inspection points. Newly designed fully opening engine door and side cover provide a quick access to daily inspection points. For major maintenance and tasks, the front side cover is easily removable with access direct from ground level.

Komatsu quick-coupler The new Komatsu quick-coupler makes changing attachments easier and quicker. A short tooth radius ensures excellent digging performance. All models are available in both mechanical (semi-automatic) and hydraulic versions.
